Overnight

Oil prices declined overnight as U.S. crude futures were at $49.18 a barrel, after dropping 1.6 percent during U.S. hours, while Brent was marginally up 0.04 percent at $50, following a 1.6 percent overnight decline. Oil almost as bad as risk on, risk off again trades has been in one of those states that cause many to believe the market is being manipulated, especially ahead of the upcoming election in the U.S.

The Wall Street Journal reported: Asian markets were largely down in early trade Thursday, with traders focused on oil, earnings and Chinese economic data. Japan’s Nikkei was down 0.3% and Australia’s S&P/ASX was off 0.5%, but South Korea’s Kospi gained 0.3%. The market is increasingly skeptical that the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries will be able to pull off a prospective deal to cut production.

China continues to weaken the yuan fixing it 0.05% weaker against the U.S. dollar. However, unlike during previous yuan depreciation pushes, traders appeared to be taking this weakening cycle in stride. It was another move by the Chinese central bank. The Shanghai Composite was down just 0.4% on the data but Hong Kong stocks were hit harder. The Hang Seng Index was off 1.2% and the China Enterprises Index, which tracks large mainland companies listed in Hong Kong, was down 1.5%.

China recorded 7.7% year-over-year growth in industrial profits in September, sharply down from the 19.5% growth the previous month, according to the National Bureau of Statistics. Analysts said that Beijing’s new property controls had hit construction, and therefore the profits of coal and steel producers, but that this should prove temporary, according to the Journal.

Meanwhile, in the currency markets the dollar moved slightly higher after two down sessions to trade at 98.71. Some observers, however, pointed out wile the dollar remains strong against the yen it seems to be losing some stream against the euro, British pound, Swiss Franc and commodity currencies. The yen traded at 104.38 against the dollar. Gold prices, still getting demand from the India festival, edged lower on the dollar strength against the yen, trading at $1,265.51 an ounce.
On tap for later in the week, Friday, investors will be studying the U.S. gross domestic product third-quarter results.

Project Veritas has just released Part IV of it's multi-part series exposing numerous scandals surrounding the DNC and the Clinton campaign, including efforts to incite violence at Trump rallies and, at least what seems to be, illegal coordination between the DNC, Hillary For America and various Super PACs.
Part IV focuses on a $20,000 foreign donation made by an undercover Project Veritas journalist to Americans United for Change (AUFC).  Ironically, shortly after the $20k donation wire was released, the contributor's "niece" was offered an internship with Creamer's firm, Democracy Partners.
In the new video, Creamer says: “Every morning I am on a call at 10:30 that goes over the message being driven by the campaign headquarters … I am in this campaign mainly to deal with what earned media with television, radio, with earned media and social media, not with paid media, not with advertising.” He also mentions a conference call discussing a woman potentially coming forward to accuse Trump of inappropriate behavior.
Creamer, a seasoned Chicago activist who is married to Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL), whose Republican opponent, Joan McCarthy Lasonde has called for her to resign over her husband’s activities, also talks about his work with Barack Obama, whom he says he has known since the 1980s, when Obama was a community organizer in Chicago: “He’s a pro, I’ve known the President since he was a community organizer in Chicago.”
Elsewhere, Creamer adds: “I do a lot of work with the White House on their issues, helping to run issue campaigns that they have been involved in. I mean, for immigration reform for the… the health care bill, for trying to make America more like Britain when it comes to gun violence issues.”
In the effort to prove the credibility of the undercover donor featured in the videos and to keep the investigation going, Project Veritas Action made the decision to donate twenty thousand dollars to Robert Creamer’s effort. Project Veritas Action had determined that the benefit of this investigation outweighed the cost. And it did.

“First thing, like I said, thank you for the proposal.  And I’d like to get the $20,000 across to you.  The second call I’m going to make here is to my money guy and he’s going to get in touch with you and auto wire the funds to you,” said the PVA journalist.

Creamer told the PVA journalist to send the money to Americans United for Change. Shortly after the money was released, the “donors” “niece” - another Project Veritas Action journalist - was offered an internship with Creamer.

In an effort to see how far Creamer would go with the promise of more money, another Project Veritas journalist posing as the donor’s money liaison requested a meeting with Creamer. During that meeting, Creamer spoke about connections he had with Obama and Clinton.
AUFC President, Brad Woodhouse, subsequently returned the money, after Project Veritas started to release their undercover videos, citing "concerns that it might have been an illegal foreign donation."  Oddly, Woodhouse was not terribly concerned about the "legality" of the donation when he chose to accept it a month prior.

Thank God And Brexit

Don't try to tell this to those EU bureaucrats like Angles Merkel or Jean-Claude Juncker. They're suffering from the rejected suitor syndrome and they're pissed off.

We've been suggesting the same all along, since we think Britain will be just fine, a lot  like that old country song where the guy, looking and acting all forlorn and sad, drives his girlfriend who has announced she leaving him to the Greyhound station. Once she's safely and securely on the bus and it pulls out, he starts singing: "Thank God and Greyhound, she's gone!" For the UK it'll be be thank God and Brexit we're free.

The tougher the Brussels stumbling, bumbling bureaucrats want to get, the more intransigent the Brits should get. Brussels is bloated with phony bureaucrats who know one thing: They want what they want. Everyone else be damned. And they want they want is your currency, your sovereignty and your freedom of choice.

Sweden has warned that it would be a serious mistake to chastise Britain for voting to leave the EU, appealing instead for an amicable settlement to minimise damage for both sides.
“The softer the Brexit, the better. We’re an open country and we are in favour of free trade, and we want to see a solution that is as beneficial as possible for everybody,” said Magdalena Andersson, the Swedish finance minister.

The olive branch from Stockholm reflects the shared view of the Nordic bloc that there is nothing to be gained from a fractious divorce between Britain and the EU.

Like It Or

The question isn't if there's any manipulation. The real question: Is there a place left on the globe where there is no manipulation?

If there is, there aren't any humans there. The reason this whole house of manipulation is about to come down--the worst nightmare of the entrenched crowd--one of the elitist's favorite meme they give lip service to but one they really don't want, education. Not the directing history kind that gets ladled out in academia, most of which is just more useless elitist pablum but simple information.

The kind Martin Wolf, The Financial Times resident Keynesian apologist and pro-trade worry wort, in his piece today, "Sluggish global trade growth is here to stay," called "simple-minded protectionism." You can tell enlists because they always love to make things more complicated.
It gives them a reason for being and for manipulating. Here's something simple. Mother Nature sends you the urge to relieve yourself. You find a bathroom, uncinch your drawers, park you butt on the toilet seat if you're fortunate enough to have one and let it go. And if you're fortunate there might be some mildly entertaining graffiti to peruse depending on the bathroom.

That's a straight forward subject, verb, object solution. No wrangling over aging populations, econometric model drivel, central bank double-speak, political half-stepping, demographic BS. There's a rock in your shoe. Take it out.

Trumps' rise to prominence is the symbolic equivalent of Luther nailing those proclamations to the church door. We're onto you big time. Political campaigns, job numbers, votes, earnings reports, equity and commodity prices, the national debt, politicians' pay, my old girl friend's self-righteousness, Joe Bidden's scribblings, central banker speeches, MSM, econometric models, bipartisan government, public civility, to name just a fraction, are all manipulated.

The old game, though it was never on video, under the elitists was Like It Or Lump It. But there's a new game now, though it too is not on any video, it's called Like It Or Trump It.

What Does It Matter

How do you know corruption when you see it? Take a tour of the current White House or check out those alleged Russian WikiLeaked emails.

The Russians made us do it and taught us all we know about corruptions, so let's just kick their asses in WW III, the Hillary Clinton version. You don't suppose for a second these grand folks discussed Hillary's "What does it matter" comment at that dinner do you?

zerohedge.com/news/2016-10-26/john-podesta-had-dinner-top-doj-official-one-day-after-hillarys-benghazi-hearing

----
In the latest revelation sure to reignite accusations of collusion between the Clinton campaign and the DOJ, among the recent batch of hacked emails released by Wikileaks, we learn that the day after Hillary Clinton testified in front of the House Select Committee on Benghazi last October, John Podesta, Hillary's campaign chairman met for dinner with a small group of well-connected friends, including Peter Kadzik, who is currently a top official at the US Justice Department serving as Assistant Attorney General for Legislative Affairs.

White House Hypocrisy

Let's get the facts straight here, something MSM and their slave masters hate.

If the hypocrisy were any thicker it would be a backroom meeting of the corrupt DNC. Referring to women as "holes' and other such degrading, dehumanizing epithets is cool as long as you're part of a particular culture and it rakes in millions of bucks. We get it, Mr. President.

Michelle Obama laid into Donald Trump for his lewd locker room remarks about women as follows: "I can't stop thinking about this. It has shaken me to my core in a way I could not have predicted" -- whereupon the White House warned Trump to not retaliate against the First Lady.
"And the White House on Thursday advised that Trump continue to steer clear of the president's wife, suggesting that an unprecedented attack on the first lady is a surefire way for the GOP nominee's standing to plummet further."
Well, Eric Schultz (and presumably Barack Obama), here is what you can do with your warning. Donald Trump's statements, which were probably empty boasts in contrast to Bill Clinton's well-known behavior, were indeed lewd and unacceptable. While two wrongs do not make a right, Michelle and Barack Obama have openly promoted rap artists who glorify misogyny, sexual objectification of women, and even date rape. That's right; I am indeed calling out our country's sorry excuse for a First Lady for her and her husband's deplorable legitimization of the most despicable misogynistic language on earth.

In April 2016, the Obamas invited numerous rap artists to the White House to discuss Barack Obama's "My Brother's Keeper" initiative while recognizing them for their "artistic" contributions to minority communities. The rappers whom the Obamas promoted with these invitations include:

The Big Cover Up

We've said it before and we will reiterate it. Hillary Clinton has a serious neurological condition, quite possibly PD, but her eye movements have been recorded and witnessed by many over these last several months and they have been covering it up. The head bobbing is another example that occurred more than once.

We questioned the flippant letter at the time sent out to the media from the National PD people and we will continue to stand by that. It was a letter of recommendation not any medical statement about her condition. Even if it isn't PD, it's a serious neurological condition they are lying about.

TUCSON, Ariz., Oct. 25, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Concerns about Hillary Clinton's health have been subdued after her three debate performances. She presented her ability to survive 4-and-a-half hours on a stage with Donald Trump as proof of sufficient stamina to serve as commander-in-chief.
"She evidently intended this as a joke, although I suspect our combat veterans would not be amused," states AAPS executive director Jane Orient, M.D.

Videos are, however, circulating on the internet, from her rather brief and rare appearances in public, which are purported to show pathological eye movements.
"These are quick, episodic, and inconsistent," states Dr. Orient, who is an internist. "So we decided to ask doctors on our email list to have a look at one of the videos. A helpful tool is to paste the URL into http://RowVid.com and watch it at half or quarter speed."

Nearly two-thirds of respondents said they saw abnormal movements. Only 15% did not, and 21% were unsure. There are long segments in which the eye movements appear normal.
About 60% of those who saw abnormal movements thought "the cause could be a potentially disabling neurological condition," and none of them were willing to say that it isn't.

Such movements signify an abnormality in portions of the brain that coordinate the eye muscles. There is a long differential diagnosis. Possibilities the respondents suggested include increased intracranial pressure (she is at risk for that because of her history of head trauma and a transverse sinus clot); a drug effect; or a chronic degenerative neurological condition. Parkinson's disease is mentioned—with drug treatment concealing most manifestations but causing the eye signs.

Overnight

Follow Wall Street at your own peril and that's what Asian shares overnight appeared to do as most markets there traded lower after Wall Street disappointing earnings reports coupled with weak economic data sent the U.S. market south.

The ASX 200 led the sell off parade, falling 1.8%, next was the New Zealand's NZX 50 down 1.5%, the Kospi dropped 1.4%, the Hang Send lower 0.8% and the Shanghai Composite lost 0.4%. It was the lowest level got the ASX 200 in a month. Most of the damage was in financial and commodity sectors. The Nikkei 225 was flat.

U.S. crude fell 1.4 percent to $49.30 on Wednesday. It is down 3.1 percent this week.Traders said Brent futures retreated 1.1 percent to $50.21, bringing this week's losses to 3 percent, as the glut in oil continued. The U.S. dollar, according to the WSJ, edged up 0.1 percent to 104.295 yen after touching the highest level in almost three months on Tuesday. Sterling retreated 0.2 percent to $1.2164 on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, it slumped to as low as $1.2082, its weakest in 2 1/2 weeks after Bank of England (BoE) Governor Mark Carney said there were limits to the central bank's ability to ignore the effect of the currency's slide on inflation. His comments, ahead of a policy meeting next week, stifled expectations for more monetary stimulus in Europe. The euro, which slid to a 7 1/2-month low of $1.0851 on Tuesday, recovered to end the session flat, and was trading little changed at $1.0889 on Wednesday.
The Australian dollar jumped 0.6 percent to $0.7689 to post its biggest increase in a week after inflation ran slightly faster than expected, boosting bets the central bank will hold policy steady into next year, the Journal noted. Gold was up 0.1% at $1274.76 pushing higher after approaching 3-week high the day before. Some said the rally owed much to India's late-October festival.

Other Voices

Sometimes other voices remain just that, never heard by most people.

You can cite all the psychological babble you want, but human behavior in many ways remains an other voice. The more it's gets studied the less predictable it becomes. In our view, the Trump traction is an other voice, not necessarily correct but not necessarily incorrect either, just an inflection point nobody really wants to believe or hear, if for the simple reason this has been going on for so long.

The deflation cycle has been going on for a long time too. Long enough to convince the guru crowd it's birthed a new normal. Again in our view there's an other voice here most are hell bent on either refusing to consider or doing their best to discount and persuade against. The idea that central banks are sinister in their actions, refusing to let markets set prices, flooding the globe with easy credit, chafes and abrades. It ain't suppose to be so. This is the anointed intellectual set, academically washed, properly baptized and enthroned.

So if the really important but oft overlooked thing is not the answers you get but the questions you ask, here's one for you. Are we headed for a major commodity-inflation outbreak? An other voice few can hear and most to keep their comfort must deny or ignore.

Bullies Is His Term

In our just posted piece, 2016/10/big-government-force, we wrote that when you disagree with the Hillary tribe they have ready names for you, all negative, without ever having met or knowing anything about you.

A columnist in the Financial Times yesterday referred Trump as a vulgarian, indirectly suggesting that anyone who supports him is such. He went onto to label any residual of the Trump movement should Trump not win as "a nativist-populist rump dominated by Trumpians." Translation: nativist-populist asses. It's the British understatement way, politely call you an ass hole. Make no mistake about it, populist is a pejorative also. It's essentially anyone who differs with the status quo. There is no room for the merit of your position. It can't have any to these self-appointed, anointed members of the cognoscenti.
http://static.tumblr.com/oqfkeha/1DWnk09vk/avatar_scottadams_128.png
He later says, in his plea about bravery and the apparent demise of the Republican party he sees as having been hijacked--this from a guy who is calling 40 million people he's never met and knows nothing about, names from a distance--"to risk the ire of the Trumpian mob." No mention of the thugs on the other side.

No matter. They don't care. These are people who want what they want. End of sentence. And they obviously intend to stop at nothing to get it. Rigging an election is most likely the milder action they  will take. Now we don't know the author of the piece below. We do know that he is a committed liberal and has now come out for Trump for his own well-explained reasons, something he is not by any means obligated to do, but is simply honest enough to do it. For that he apparently has received much grief. Bullies is his term. We prefer thugs.

I’ve been trying to figure out what common trait binds Clinton supporters together. As far as I can tell, the most unifying characteristic is a willingness to bully in all its forms.
If you have a Trump sign in your lawn, they will steal it.
If you have a Trump bumper sticker, they will deface your car.
if you speak of Trump at work you could get fired.
On social media, almost every message I get from a Clinton supporter is a bullying type of message. They insult. They try to shame. They label. And obviously they threaten my livelihood.
We know from Project Veritas that Clinton supporters tried to incite violence at Trump rallies. The media downplays it.
We also know Clinton’s side hired paid trolls to bully online. You don’t hear much about that.
Yesterday, by no coincidence, Huffington Post, Salon, and Daily Kos all published similar-sounding hit pieces on me, presumably to lower my influence. (That reason, plus jealousy, are the only reasons writers write about other writers.)
Joe Biden said he wanted to take Trump behind the bleachers and beat him up. No one on Clinton’s side disavowed that call to violence because, I assume, they consider it justified hyperbole.
Team Clinton has succeeded in perpetuating one of the greatest evils I have seen in my lifetime. Her side has branded Trump supporters (40%+ of voters) as Nazis, sexists, homophobes, racists, and a few other fighting words. Their argument is built on confirmation bias and persuasion. But facts don’t matter because facts never matter in politics. What matters is that Clinton’s framing of Trump provides moral cover for any bullying behavior online or in person. No one can be a bad person for opposing Hitler, right?
